FUNDING
The Zambezi Society has managed to secure funding for the first phase of the project. This initial funding will cover the costs of conducting spoor counts in each study area as well as other representative areas of the country, and in a year's time we will be able to present a first estimate of the national leopard population extrapolated from density. This funding also covers the development of a website and the production of a newsletter for one year. However, we still require a great deal more funding for the rest of the field work and to bring on board two students.
