Chewore,
an orphaned black rhino calf who was the first to be hand-reared at the Matusadona
National Park black rhino breeding centre, near Lake Kariba. She was transferred
to the safety of this Intensive Protection Zone from another Park where poachers
had killed nearly all the black rhino population.
